About Me
Name:
Yael Leinman
A qualified NLP practitioner, hypnotherapist and counsellor in North London
Receive help in overcoming a range of issues including anxiety, depression, smoking cessation, weight loss, pain relief and much more. You can achieve this knowing that you will be treated equally and with respect by seeing a practitioner with a counselling background.
Having a sense of trust, comfort and confidence in your therapist is the foundation block to experiencing effective therapy. Creating this comfortable environment is my goal right from first contact which then easily leads to an effective professional therapeutic relationship.
I have completed my NLP and hypnotherapy training at ‘motivation training’ which I welcome you to have a look at:

I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register:

I have been working in the therapeutic profession since 2001. I have completed a BSc in Psychology in 2001 and have been working as a counsellor since. Throughout this time I have developed myself professionally in order to be able and provide the best care I can to the individuals who approach me for therapeutic support. This means that I continue to study and attend seminars, workshops and further training which are relevant to my profession.
My belief is that as we are all unique individuals, we all require different types of help. I do not believe in a 'one approach fits all', as it would be naive to think that what would help me to cope with what life throws at me, would be the very same approach that would help you!
Therefore, I use a number of different approaches depending on the individual who is requesting support, what the issues are whilst considering realistically what the person can and want to achieve by seeing me.
My aim is to find out what it is exactly that you would like to achieve/ change/ gain by coming to see me. The process of therapy, regardless of the approach used will be done after we have discussed and agreed on what you think would be most suitable for you and the issues you face.
I hold in pride my transparent approach to therapy as I would liked to be treated equally when I seek support of any kind. Therefore, you can be assured that whatever is practiced in the session/s will be what was discussed and agreed between us right from the start. I would give you my honest, direct opinion as to what I think you will most benefit from as to keep costs down for you and minimise duration of meetings.
